Artona will be coming to École Cascade Heights for Individual Photos on October 16th. Please check out this link:https://artona.com/schools/CSHE for the full photo schedule for the 2024/2025 school year.
Looking forward to seeing everyone’s best smiles that day!
Our Grade 7 class has the opportunity to attend Camp Elphinstone in the spring. We are fundraising to reduce the per student transportation cost. We are also using a portion of the fundraising profits to purchase some new PE equipment.
This fundraiser not only helps support our Cascade Heights students but also supports local Lower Mainland farmers. The school receives 40% of the profits.
If your family loves local vegetables, then this is the fundraiser for you! The bags will be delivered to our school and the grade 7 students will hand deliver them to the classrooms to take home. The bags can be heavy so parents will have lots of notice so that they will be there to help carry them home.
Feel free to order for friends and family!
Basic Bundle – $25 – 3 lbs. Carrots, 3 lbs. Yellow Onions, 3 lb. Apples, and 5 lbs. Russet Potatoes
Seasonal Bundle – $25 – 3 Pack Loveable Little Squash, 3 lbs. Carrots, 1 lb Parsnips, and 5 lbs. Russet Potatoes
Orders will be collected via SchoolCash Online and will remain open until October 18th.
Delivery will be in mid-November. The exact date will be emailed out when we know. Last year both of our Fresh to You Fundraisers were a great success and the produce was delicious!
Like all other elementary schools in Burnaby, Ecole Cascade Heights has the “safe arrival program”. This means that if a child is marked absent, but the office has not received a telephone call or an email from the caregivers advising of the absence/tardiness, a phone call home or email will be made to ensure the child is safe.
Attendance emails can be sent to: CascadeHeights.Info@burnabyschools.ca You will receive an auto-reply when you email in your student’s absence. If you do not receive this, your email did not go through.
Please include the following details:
– Child(ren)’s Name(s)
– Teacher/Division
– Dates/times
– Reason for Absence
It is important to report your student’s absence to the office, either through email or on the phone at 604-296-9007 ext 2.
Please call or email the office and leave a message on the absence line, even if you have already advised the teacher, so that we do not bother you at home/work.
