If you are interested in French Immersion, Inman teaches FI (Grade K-3) and Cascade Heights teaches FI (Grade 4-7) as part of the Early French Immersion program. If you are looking for Late French Immersion (Grades 6-7), that is taught at Marlborough and Armstrong. Please ONLY apply with the full registration package at your English catchment school. Please attach CURRENT documents (checklist as listed below)
- Proof of Residence in Category A: proof of ownership of dwelling or long-term lease or rental of dwelling; legal documents indicating BC residence; parent or guardian filing income tax returns as a BC resident. This needs to be the complete document, list parent/guardian names, and the address of the dwelling.
- Proof of Residence in Category B: BC hydro bill, BC cable bill, Provincial driver’s license, provincial registration of automobile, statement from Canadian bank accounts or credit cards.
- Student Proof of Citizenship: Canadian birth certificate, citizenship card, passport, landed immigrant document, permanent resident card.
- Student Proof of Birthdate: Birth certificate or passport
- Proof of Guardianship: Parents’ or guardians’ as shown on birth certificate or other appropriate legal documentation such as Government ID, landed immigrant papers or guardianship order granted by the courts.
Parents/legal guardians and children must be residing in Burnaby at the time of registration. Schools are unable to register students until the family is living in Burnaby. If you are currently out of the country, please wait until returning to Burnaby before registering.
