In 1980 Terry showed us what courage, compassion and determination look like. Today that example is needed more than ever and we are inspired to join 4,000,000 Canadian students who are leading the way. By fundraising for innovative research our school community is literally changing the lives of Canadians facing cancer. Thanks to your donation, we’re driving cancer research forward, faster than ever.

New and returning parents, come join the Welcome Back event hosted by PAC at Cascade Heights on Tuesday, September 8, from 9:00–10:00 a.m. in the school gym. Connect over refreshments, join a fireside chat with Principal De Vita, and student stories on how the PAC supports our school community—and why your involvement matters. We would love to see you there!

Welcome to the 2026/2027 school year!

School starts on Tuesday September 8th, 2026. Students will attend school from 8:56–10:00am.

Where to go:

• All returning students from grades 1-7 please report to last year’s classrooms.
• All new English students in grades 1-7 please report to the LIBRARY (signage will be directing students).
• Grade 4 French Immersion students will report to the Music Room (signage will be directing students).
• For our new Kindergarten students: please see the Kindergarten Gradual Entry schedule.

We are excited to announce that Cascade Heights has partnered with School Start to provide a convenient option for families to purchase their school supplies for the 2026-2027 school year. You can purchase the school supplies listed below directly from School Start (our school’s name is École Cascade Heights Elementary), or you may utilize the same list to purchase your supplies locally. Remember, you can purchase parts of the additional section if your child already has supplies that are in good order from a previous year – please save money and the environment. 

Order early, and you will be entered in one or more contests! 

Supply Lists by Grade:

• Kindergarten – all Kindergarten classes will have shared supplies. A small fee will be charged to Kindergarten families at the start of the school year to cover the cost of shared supplies.
• Grade 1 – all Grade 1 classes will have shared supplies. A small fee will be charged to Grade 1 families at the start of the school year to cover the cost of shared supplies.
